For the treatment and prevention of fleas and ticks on cats, dogs and puppies from 8 weeks of age. FRONTLINE® Plus combines fipronil, the active ingredient in all other FRONTLINE® products, with (S)-methoprene, an insect growth regulator. Integrated Flea Control, or IFC, is what sets FRONTLINE® Plus apart. IFC refers to a combination of active ingredients working together._x000D_
Within 24 hours, FRONTLINE® Plus migrates all over the pet’s body through a process called translocation. The sebaceous (oil) glands just beneath the skin act as a reservoir from which FRONTLINE® Plus is slowly and continuously released onto the skin surface, where fleas and ticks make contact with it._x000D_
Fipronil works by attacking the nerve cells of fleas, resulting in their becoming disorientated and hyperactive before dying. (S)-methoprene interferes with egg production and hatching of fleas, as well as inhibiting larval development . Consequently, no more pupae are produced, and the flea life cycle is broken._x000D_

In order to obtain the best results, it is recommended that the animal neither be bathed nor shampooed for 3 days before, or for 3 days after the application, as this will decrease the duration of activity._x000D_
METHOD OF APPLICATION:_x000D_
Remove the pipette from the pack, lift the easy peel-off backing to expose the pipette. Open applicator by holding upright and snapping the tip away from face and body. Apply by parting the pet’s hair between the shoulder blades and place the applicator tip against the skin. Squeeze applicator and empty entire contents on one or two spots directly onto the skin._x000D_
