Nexgard is the new chewable flea and tick preventative from the makers of Frontline_x000D_
Suitable for monthly treatment of fleas and ticks on dogs_x000D_
Safe to use in puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing more than 2 kg_x000D_
This product contains a new chemical, the active ingredient Afoxolaner, an isoxazoline-based compound with a new and distinct mode of action_x000D_
Nexgard does not need to be taken with food and can act as a tasty beef treat_x000D_
It starts killing adult fleas within 30 minutes, before they are able to lay eggs, and kill ticks within 24 hours, thus before the tick is able to transmit any tick borne diseases to your pets_x000D_
Nexgard can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD)_x000D_

Dosage:_x000D_
– Administer orally at monthly intervals to provide the recommended dosage of 2.5 mg/kg of Afoxolaner per kg of body weight_x000D_
– This tablet is suitable to treat 1 dog weighing between 25 – 50 kg_x000D_
– If your dog weighs more than 50 kg then it is recommended that you use the correct combination of tablets_x000D_
– Nexgard is very palatable and readily accepted by dogs, thus the product can be offered to the dog by hand as a treat_x000D_
– Alternatively, chewable tablets can be added to a small amount of dog food, or dosed manually_x000D_

Precautions:_x000D_
– Nexgard may cause vomiting and diarrhea in some dogs_x000D_
– Safety in pregnant and lactating animals has not been determined_x000D_
– After treatment with Nexgard, most ticks will generally be killed within 48 hours after infestation. However the attachment of single ticks cannot be excluded and so transmission of infectious disease cannot be completely excluded if conditions are unfavourable_x000D_
– Care should be taken to ensure that the dog consumes the complete dose._x000D_
